In beautiful region of the river Kupa and the mystical surrounding spaces, we will have a pottery workshop that will enable us to express the beauty of the region that is otherwise difficult to express with words. In this beautiful region we will listen and connect to different energies, which together form the Energy organism of the river Kupa. The valley of the river apart from its natural beauty also has enormous potential for the health of the body, soul and spirit. Here we can wake our inner light through natural sanctuaries, rocks and particular places where we meet with the ancestors and those who are yet to come. There are 40 particular places, and 26 of them have lithopuncture stones with Cosmo grams. Small towns and villages surround the whole area. The river Kupa acts as a natural border between Croatia and Slovenia, so we will stay alternately in both countries. It is interesting how the geomantic researches showed parallels in the area as well as the inseparability of both areas. One half of the centre of the area, for example, is in Petrina (Slovenia), and its other half is in Brod on Kupa (Croatia). The two form a natural organism that no human border or law can divide.
Day 1: ZAGREB – BROD MORAVICE – SOURCE OF THE RIVER KUPA – LOKVE – OSILNICA
The first day will mark our first steps. The lithopuncture stone represents an entrance to this whole area where we will stretch a bit and then enjoy the silence for a while. This first stone will mark an initiation to the whole experience, as it awakens intuition, imagination and creativity for what awaits us. Our next stop is the turquoise more than 160 m deep source of the river Kupa. There we will silently walk to the lake Lokve. There we will set off on rafts on a meditative journey filled with good vibrations.
Day 2: OSILNICA – PLEŠCE – ČABAR – SOKOLI – OSILNICA
Arrival to Plešce and ascent to Sveta gora (Holy mountain). Sveta Gora is the famous shrine of Our Lady. A place of natural beauties leads us on a path to light. This place holds the power of transformation and together with the two other places on our tour in the following two days, represents the three Goddesses. Black Goddess (Sveta Gora) of transformation; the Red Goddess (Sveta Ana) of sexuality and creativity and the White Goddess (Fara) of the wholeness of being. We continue our walk in silence, listening to the surrounding sounds of nature. Passing the geomantic stones along the path we become aware of the differences in the place that surrounds us. Our next stops are the source of the river Čabranka – a place to purify our lungs, and Sokoli, a small village in the mountains.
Day 3: OSILNICA – KUŽELJSKA STIJENA – BOŠLJIVA LOKA – SV.ANA – RIBJEK – OSILNICA
Ahead of us are places with strong feminine qualities. First is the Red Goddess, the geomantic spot of St. Ana. Walking through the small town Ribjek, a place of strong feminine quality, we descend from the cliff Kuželjska enjoying a wonderful view. Somewhere between the top and bottom of the cliff Kuželjska we will try to find the 3 beech trees that resemble mythological creatures. As the place offers an astounding inner and outer view, we will enter a meditative state to try to see the connection of the adjacent mountain peaks.
Day 4: OSILNICA – FARA – KUPA – PRIFAR DITCH – NEŽICA – OSILNICA
The third Goddess of the wholeness of being resides in Fara. The third goddess is white and represents completeness and unity, linking the physical reality with spiritual dimensions of existence. Here we will have the opportunity to get to know our hosts, their language, culture and music, ending our day with the workshop “Conversation with the roses”.
Days 5 and 6: OSILNICA – PLEMENITAŠ (POTTERY WORKSHOP) – OSILNICA
On the fifth and sixth day we will express the impressions of our experiences in a pottery workshop, with ceramics in the village Plemenitaš. Modelling helps us give physical form to our impressions, using hands, as an organ of the Heart, enables us to leave an imprint. Our pottery instructor is a professor and academic sculptor and no previous knowledge is necessary.
Day 7: OSILNICA – KOČIČIN – BROD NA KUPI – BROD MORAVIČKI KRAJ – OSILNICA
Brod Moravički is a place that leaves no one, or almost no one indifferent. This place could be the sole reason to take this whole trip. It is also a secluded place of beautiful unity of interesting possibilities and opportunities. Just by passing through this area we can strengthen our abilities to respect and love. The area has a rich ethnological heritage, beautiful cliffs with wonderful views, forests and much more.
Day 8: LOBIČ – ZAGREB
Return to Zagreb.
Three Goddesses represent the three energy spots that are unified completely. It will be interesting to observe the reactions that these spots bring about. The first of the goddesses on our trip is the goddess of transformation, the Black goddess. It is Sveta gora, a pilgrimage. What each one of us leaves there or brings from there, we leave for that moment. Dragutin Hirc, a great enthusiast, travel writer, teacher and researcher, in his book tells the story of Sveta Gora:
“Shepherds grazed their sheep at Sv.Gora. The sheep would find a place where they would be particularly happy grazing and staying. Shepherds had to force them to leave. In that place a picture of the Our Lady was later found, and a small church was built on that spot about 400 years ago, which lay the foundations for the present church. On the southwestern side of the forest there is a cliff, with a circle imprinted 5 cm deep. The old folks saying states: “When Our lady travelled to Sv. Gora, she came to rest by this stone, laid her basket on it and the basket left the imprinted circle.”
